Fashion Illustrations

Although I’ve done some sort of painting/drawing/throughout my life, I have not truly practiced drawing until The Great Quarantine of 2020. I’ve mostly been doing fashion illustrations because that is what I like the best and here are some of the works I’m most proud of so far.

A casual outfit

I bought quite a bit of polyester Shantung and decided that I would make a three piece out of it: blouse and skirt above, and bolero/jacket from left.

This is the preliminary sketch for the red walking skirt combination linked in the photo.
I am a huge fan of the musical Rebecca, and this is an imagining of what Mrs Danvers would wear to the costume party (on account of her love for…orchids…and Rebecca)
This is an outfit inspired by Pia Douwes’ character Claire Zachanassian in the musical Der Besuch der alten Dame.
